Why not, so many retired judges from High court practicing in Supreme court

Generally,  Retired Judges prefer to take up cases selectively in higher courts than which they have retired.

What are the facts? What is the context?

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate)     18 May 2021

Article 220 of the Constitution of India restricts a retired judge from practicing in the court in which he was a judge. However, he is entitled to practice in any other High Court and the Supreme Court.

A retired judge can practice in a court higher than where s/he retired but neither same or lower court.

What is your problem / dispute / issue / locus standi, if it is not a time pass topic for debate????
