The Supreme Court today agreed to hear bail plea of DMK MP Kanimozhi in the second-generation (2G) mobile telephony spectrum allocation scam. It adjourned the plea hearing to June 20.
The apex court issued notice to CBI asking it to file its response on the bail plea of Kanimozhi by Monday.
The Supreme Court also asked the CBI to state the loss incurred by exchequer in granting licences to telecom companies during A Raja's tenure.
It has told the the CBI to inform it as to what happened to the Rs200 crore allegedly given to Kalaignar TV by Cineyug Films.
