The question is that an employee of State Bank of India, was appointed on part time basis in a branch vide appointment letter. In 2006 the company decided to make all part time workers to appoint on full time basis. The fitment in the circular was quite complicated and the fitment was made with a basic less than the last drawing basic. As such the workers ignored it and a decision made locally to make their fitment on the last drawn basic. But some of the workers became victim , and a discrimination was found with their salaries and they became losers in every respect. Now what is the legal procedure to be followed. Please Suggest.
