What is the procedure to obtain a Labour Licence in punjab And what are the crieteria's

With due respect to Sh. Sarvesh.K.Sharma, I am sorry to say that the Labour Licence is not available from the office of the District Magistrate. In Punjab it is available in the office of the Assistant Labour Commissioner or the Labour-cum-Conciliation Officer of the Area concerned.

Obtaining Labour license is in the provision of Contract Labour ( regulation & Abolisition )Act & Rules framed there under. The authority normally Asst Labour Commissioner of that area.
