Leading Evidence in a suit filed on the Basis of POA

A civil Suit is filed on the basis of a POA

Is the POA holder authorized to lead evidence on behalf of the POA provider and be examined and cross examined on all matters related to the suit or the POA provider alone can be examined in the Court

If the POA is in the full knowledge of the suit issues and is capable of leading evidence, he can very well be permitted to proceed with deposing evidence on behalf if his principle.  He should be able to answer the questions raised  by the opposite party during cross examination.
