LEASE AGREEMENT BOND BOUGHT IN WIFE'S NAME BY HUSBAND INCOME

Dear Members,

I bought a lease agreement bond in my wife's name for 3.5 lakhs fully paid by me to house owner and also signed in witness. This bond is going to expire in 3 months and I need to claim it but bond is with her and we going through matrimonial disputes and cases are in court. Owner says he will return back my amount after I give my bond which I don't have...

How do I claim it?
How do I stop her to claim?
How do I protect it?
Do I need to file a civil suit and get stay order, if so what section?
What precautions I need to take?

When the bond is in her name, the owner is discharged of his obligations in settling in wife's name as he is not concerned wtih internal issues within a family.  You can contact Advocate, file a suit, get injunction against such payment to your wife by owner.  Your Advocate can guide in clearing all your doubts as this issue is not such easy and several sources of income , stating of such asset in various statements to employer / ITO etc., are to be scrutinized.
