Leave and license

There is no importance for the same.  Leave & Licence is a permission granted to the Licensee to use and occupy the premises for a fixed period only.  Therefore, it can be any term, may be 3 years, 5 years, so on, with stipulation regarding yearly increase in the licence fee.  Upon expiry, same cananot be renewed since the arrangement is for a fixed term.  In some states, Leave & Licence agreement for more than 11 months requires compulsory registration with the sub-registrar.
