We are resident in Mumbai from last 40 years , we have our property in Kerala - Trichur. Property is in the name of Father and he has expired in 1997, behind him wife and 2 daughters are the legal heir but this is not tranfered in their names
now we would like to sell the same property
can we obtain Legal Heir Certificate / Succession Certificate from Mumbai and which we can submit in Kerala
is any other procedure for this kindly advice

If your father was ordinarily residing at mumbai then, you will have to obtain the legal heir certificate from mumbai only.
