Can a male & a female, unmarried but in love, of adult age, use the hotel room in their city of residence to have s*x? Can the law or the police involve them in legal action?

There may be no problems but later on say after 3 years female starts blackmailing you for Money than you would be charged under Rape .

Section 367 of the Indian Penal Code
" Whoever kidnaps or abducts any person in order that such person may be subjected, or may be
so disposed of as to be put in danger of being subjected to grievous hurt, or slavery, or to the
unnatural lust of any person, or knowing it to be likely that such person will be so subjected or
disposed of, shall be punished with imprisonment of either descripttion for a term which may
extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine. "

Section 376D of the Indian Penal Code
" Whoever, being on the management of a hospital or being on the staff of a hospital takes
advantage of his position and has s*xual intercourse with any women in that hospital, such s*xual
intercourse not amounting to the offence of rape, shall be punished with imprisonment of either
descripttion for a term which may extend to five years and shall also be liable to fine. "

 

Section 376B of the Indian Penal Code
" Whoever, being a public servant, takes advantage of his official position and induces or
seduces, any women, who is in his custody as such public servant or in the custody of a public
servant subordinate to him, to have s*xual intercourse with him, such s*xual intercourse not
amounting to the offence of rape, shall be punished with imprisonment of either descripttion for a
term which may extend to five years and shall also be liable to fine. "
