In accordance with state government directives, LBT 

will replace the existing octroi system in Nagpur, Thane, Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad from April 1. The system will be put in practice in Mumbai from October 1.

ya......... what is the registration process for the same...............

All traders who import goods costing more than Rs 5,000 will come under the purview of LBT and will have to register themselves with the local self government body for the same. The civic administration, along with the State government, will fix LBT rates every year.

Our company is a Service industry into Business promotions activity. We have godowns in Pune and Nagpur and Business promotion items like Posters, Banners, end cap, merchandising items etc. This items are not for sale and has no commerical value. Our role is to dispatch the same from our godowns to various stores.

Do we need to get ourself register in LBT
