Hi
I have been staying with by parents from last 2 years by wife is staying with her parents in another city, now she is asking for the goods which she brought when we were married, wanted to know the procedure for getting a divorce and need to know what harm it will make if I apply for a divorce as her parents are not interested in getting the divorce done, can they demand for money or not she thinks that I was not loyal to her due to which she left me.

I think you are Mohd.,In Mohd., Talak notice is sufficient, You can also file a suit for declaration for dissolution of marriage:
In Monhds. marriage is contract.
In case of the failure of the wife to perform her duties, the following remedies are available to the husband:
* He may dissolve the marriage by pronouncing a divorce in accordance with the provsions of chapter V
* He may refus to maintain her in accordance with provisions of Ch: vII
* He may file a suit for restituition of conjugal rights.

No, man I am hindu.....we do not have any contact from last 2 years now sudenly she need all the goods back...
