master degree twice in same subject in different sessions from different universities..

I have done M.Sc. Geography from KUK in 2010 and scored 51% marks...
again I passed M.A. Geography from MDU Rohtak in 2014 .

Both time I have done it in distance mode..

here it is necessary to clarify that KUK grant a degree of M.Sc. in Geography whereas MDU Rohtak grant a degree of M.A. in Geography..

please help me to guide wether it is legal to get 2 degrees in same subject from different universities in different sessions..
and if yes please provide any documentation regarding this matter from UGC or from MDU Rohtak or from any other university
