May an employer record my personal numbers after leaving the company?

My employer was spying on my phone through the CRM service, where he was able to record the call I made from my personal numbers and also the location of my phone. And he was doing the same even after I left the company 2 months back. Not only me he can record the calls of customers till the time he keeps their number in his CRM, I know its inligal to record the calls and mapping the location without informing the other party. But I don't know whom to approach for this issue, is it possible to reach TRAI for making complaint against this kind of activities?

Dear querist,

Unauthorized tapping or interception is a violation of the right to privacy, and the you can file a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission.

You can also file an FIR against unauthorized tapping.

You can also move to the Court against the person doing any unauthorized act under Section 26 (b) of the Indian Telegraphic Act.[10]
