File online RTI Application to UGC and seek such information from them.  Once UGC replies you, it becomes an authentic record on your eligibility.  Definitely you are eligible to teach those subjects which you were successful both in degree and PG.  Further for Asst. Profession, if the concerned institution prescribes minimum qualifying service, M.Phil or others you may not be eligible.  It all depends on requirements prescribed by the institution that wishes to recruit such Asst. Professors.  Mere eligibility may not get a job and gives an opportunity for applying for that post.
