My brother has constructed his house through one builder in chennai. Initially the builder has asked for Rs.1050 per sq ft in the year 2010. Since the builder is close relation of us, we have not made any agreement. After that the construction was delayed and we had our house grahaprevasam during sep'2011. During that time, the house was not constructed fully and there were many pending works are there. The builder has not completed the work and demanded for more money of Rs.1150 per sq ft. Since he is our relation we have not argued with him and paid additional money by Mar'12. We spent around 1.5 lacs extra money for completion of the buliding. Now again he is asking for another 5.5 lacs, demanding for Rs.1800 per sq ft. He is literally torturing my brother daily and he is in depressed mood.
We need your advise badly for way forward. Your guidance would be really helpful for us at this moment.
