The police has nothing to do with the ciil matter.

The tenant can be restricted by an order of temporary injunction by court alone.

Since the matter is stated to be sub-judiced, seek advise of your lawyer who is well aware about facts and circumstances of the case, an able, competent and intelligent enough to satisfy your questions, besides the fact that s/he is bound to advise you.

He cannot do any kind of alteration or changes in property, instantly file application in the court where the eviction suit is pending and ask the court to restrain him from damaging your property. You should mention you apprehend he may not damage or destroy your property.
