Mutual Divorce

I agreed to give my consent to the divorce case filed by my husband, living in Mumbai. He was engaged in an extra marital affair. I agreed to the proposal of mutual divorce as he wanted freedom and wanted to re marry. Besides i was threatened by him that he would malign my character in the society I lived in Naktala, kolkata. I succumbed to his pressure and threats. My marriage was dissolved( in March 2016), despite my heartrending sobs in the court itself. It was never noticed. My son (of 13 yrs ) stood by my side, in the court. Today I stand alone, shattered and distressed. My husband has married again. Even if I attempt to live on the strength of my old memories ( in the form of photos which were posted in facebook ) severe objections were raised. My son cannot post pics with his dad. I intend to re open the case again. Is there any possibility?? I need justice.

Sorry, nothing can be done now.  IT is easier for male to remarry, as usually there wont be child with him at the same time it is difficult for woman to find a match again wiht a child in hand. :(  Try to get over it.  Re-marry if you feel comfortable.  Anyways you have child with you who can provide you some joy.  Take care.  Dont fall for 420 advocates who might simply promise you that case can be reopened.

Sister nothing can be done now. You should try to move forward in life instead of thinking of reopening of case. Stay away from lawyers and court otherwise you will waste yours and yours son life in roaming court with zero result.

Only relief you can seek from your ex-husband is maintenance under section 125 Cr. P. C for yourself and your minor son if that was not decided at the time of divorce proceedings.
