My father's name error

My father's name has error raunki Prasad written as raukiprasad n my name is written as bechanprasad where as it's bechan prasad in hsc certificate which I adopted for all my govt job, now few months to retirement I get to know the govt service book has error which has been written according to ssc marksheet.what should I do now.if I don't change will that create problem for my retirement n pension. If changed will create the problem for my future generations.
