I need urgent help. My family lives in an apartment with 7 other tenants and unfortunately am the president of the flat association, for the last one week we had a maintenance issues with regards to
Water supply. I told them that I don’t have the time to look into the issue, they can call the plumber on their own and resolve the problem and I will sign the cheque for payment. Today morning one of the tenant stopped me while going to office and said that i need to personally be present when the
Plumbing work is carried out, I told that I have a stiff deadline to meet in the office ( as I work in the IT industry) I can’t participate in the works on this all the fellow tenants started abusing me and started giving death threats if I don’t resolve the issue as soon as possible. The problem is I belong to a minority caste and all other people are Brahmins with big money power and political connections.
Please help me how to protect myself and my family from these goondas.
