Need help with finding exparte divorce .. please

My son is living in Norway for 5yrs .. by 2013, he was forced to do register marriage with his girlfriend.. and after next day he went back to Norway ,. Due to their differences, they didn't talk or continue and that girl without our knowledge remarried another guy by January 2016 .. Since legally my son and that girl are married , we decided to get divorce . But the girl family is asking lakhs to sign papers( they want money off the record ) . We thought they will scam us , so didn't proceed with that offer . But recently we got to know that , that the girl got exparte divorce using our native divorce without our knowledge last year . But we are not completely sure about it . Is there any way to find whether that girl has applied for exparte divorce in tamilnadu ? One advocate told us to check via ecourts . But he is not sure in which category to check up . Can you please help us ? We r going crazy nowadays .. we don't know what to do ? How to find out if she got exparte divorce? Please help us

Until unless the other party makes a move you won't come to know what it is, there is nothing called as filing exparte divorce. U file divorce and after summons is served if party doesn't appear/or reply u can ask court to proceed exparte divorce. Hope my answer helps.

You can check on ecourt website by respondents/ petitioner name that she get exparty divorce or not. If she had not apply divorce then your son can apply divorce in family court

If the lady obtained divorce it must be recorded in the district family court where she was living at that time in India. To check the record you need to engage a local lawyer who can check the record and get certified copy of divorce order and decree. That will be proof of the divorce for you to use in future.
