Dear Sir
We have already divorced 2 years ago by Muslim Wakf board and divorce certificate also issued.
Now again my exwife applied for divorce from court.and i have got notice to attend hearing on next month. due to my job in gulf,iam unable to attend.
what are consequences if not attended?
May i appoint a lawyer for this reason to attend and post phone this date on the hearing day?

If you are away how did you receive notice?
If you do not know, then you need not appear till you receive the court summons are served on you. Meanwhile your advocate can represent and file your counter seeking dismissal of the petition as it is infructuous.
