Kindly help me in this case. I'm currently employed in a private company, and i joined this company last June and as per the offer letter i had 6 months probation period and 3 months notice period in case of resigning. I joined as an management trainee and Its almost 10 months now i haven't received any official conformation letter or a notice of my probation period being extended. And now i got a job in another leading firm. I had put a my resignation and i said i'll serve a month before leaving. Now my HR is forcing me to serve 3 months notice period and i just wanted to is there any law that supports me and what about the free will of an employee to join or resign a job, please help.
