hello there once again,

Mr x issues a cheque to Mr Y. on presenting it to bank, it bounced. Actually, Mr Y had given money to Mr X against the cheque. Mr X claims that amount and name of payee (MR Y) is correct, but date on cheque is wrong, as Mr X had not written any date on the cheque and this cheque was issued to Mr Y approx 20 years ago (when first time Mr X had taken money from Mr Y and returened him, this exchange was in practice for long).

How, Mr Y can claim for his money and challange that this cheque was issued on the last exchange not 20 years back.

Kindly suggest.

Regards

arvind
