Nominee privileges abused

I recently learned from external sources that my other sibling has taken out a Fixed deposit made by my father in a Post Office in 2005 of the amount of 1 lakh rupees since he was made a nominee by my father before his death in 2001. However this other sibling has neither informed me about this transaction nor given me my due share since my father has died intestate. I also had no information about this post office account as my father's bedroom and all almirahs inside had been forcibly taken over by this other sibling after his death. He has also feigned ignorance when accosted about this account. Therefore my questions are:

1. What is the best way of finding out the details of this account and in getting my share from the withdrawn amount.

2. What are my options vis-a-vis this sibling in both civil and criminal terms?

PO are now computerized and you can find out from PO, Sub Post Master, Post Master.

Issue a notice to sibling for partition of the estate.

Approach your lawyer.
