i belong to lingayat community, whether it is possible to take admission in NIT, surathkal under obc quota without mentioning sub caste?

Better u see list of castes coming under the category of OBC. and also see in the brochure of NIT Surathkal, that any quota exists for OBC or not. Also u can get the these information in the net.
