I am having a (rented shop without any agreement) in Kolkata since 1965 and paying rent regularly against rent receipt. but from last two years land lord has stopped issuing receipt and refused to accept rent on the false allegation of sub letting. I tried to send money orders which also came back with reason refused. Now Land lord forcing us to enter into an agreement to increase the rent @ 20 % every 3 years which we are accepting but at the same time we do not want to sign the agreement as there was no agreement since 1965. What shall I do ? Please help.
