I run Online News and Investigative Journalism Project namely, www.chintalessreport.com (Under Construction).
The presence of this media is 100% online, on Internet in other word we have Cyber Presence. We have no Print Publication.
Please assist me with the question below:
- do we have to register with the RNI?
- If in future, in case, if we start membership program for online subscripttion, do we then need to register with RNI? (Online Subscripttion for updated online news to be sent to email or membership for citizen journalist)
- We will have reporter, staff to investigate stories and hence we may give them ID card with a clear mention CYBER P R E S S (means online internet Cyber PRESS). in this situation do we need to register with the RNI.
- What is the rule for Online News Business or Project under your preview?
- WHAT IS THE LEGAL DEFINATION OF WORD PRESS AND WHO CAN AND CAN NOT USE THEM? ONLINE MEDIA , CAN THEY USE CYBER PRESS WORD ON THEIR ID OR AD?

iF WE DO NOT NEED REGISTRATION THEN WHAT OTHER LAW IS APPLIED FOR OUR OPERATION AND IF WE CHARGE MEMBERSHIP FEES OR MAKE MEMBER INDIAWIDE THEN IS IT LAWFULL TO TAKE MINOR CHARGE FROM THEM?
