Pan correction

Sir,

I have a PAN card  where spelling of my name is correct  but somehow in  nsdl database it is entered wrongly . So, under this circumstance I am unable to link my PAN card with my Aadhar Card. So I have applied online  and posted the form with all the needed documents 2 times. But, everytime I am getting mail from tin@tinonapp2.nsdl.co.in that manual corrections are not allowed on copy of application form admitted by applicant, re-apply with correct details though no manual correction was done on the form I have just printed the form and signed it where it was suggested. For the fault of nsdl department  I am getting harassed for so many years. Please give your suggestions.

If the entry in application form based on which PAN Card was issued were correct then you are not at fault. Hope you have the copy of this application form as well.

Apparently the issuer is unwilling to accept its mistake.

Reply at the same email id by attaching the scanned copies of application form.

Or lodge complaint.

‘Income-tax department has an electronic portal for lodging PAN Grievances through Aayakar Sampark Kendra (ASK). By using this portal one can submit his grievance pertaining to an application for PAN submitted to either UTITSL or NSDL. One can also surrender the duplicate PAN through this portal.’
