Passport

I need a advice I have studied MBA. recently I GT acquitted in a criminal case regarding 302. I removed 4 and half years inside jail. Within this jail term my passport got expired . Now I applied for its renewal but this police people are harrassing by saying that attach his case papers and write along it that we are going to appeal so his passport gets rejected. Wat should I do
