Passport renewal outside india - criminal case pending

Hi,

I have ACB case pending on me since 14 years. My passport expired in 2010

Last year, I applied for passport renewal by declaring the criminal case pending on me.

Passport authority asked me to get permission from court.

I got permission and I submitted to passport office in dec 2012. I got my passport in Jan 2013 and was only give 1 year validity until Jan 2014.

Now, I got visa to canada and I flew for vacation for 5 months, I am currently in the canada.

Now, I am thinking if I should apply for passport renewal in Canada itself, without declaring the criminal case on me? Do you think there are chances that I will get renewed for another 10 years?

Please suggest.

Not advisable because if you will file false affidavit another criminal proceedings may be initiated against you.

the passport authority at the time of renewal should have called for the police report and on that basis taken appropriate decision for renewal.
