Passport return

Respected experts,

Due to 498a, passports were impounded by the court. would courts put any seals on the passport while returning to holders.

I dont think so that court put any stamp on passport, that the property of govt of india and only passport authority can impound the passport court cannot impound the passport court only keep the passport till the case is pending

And moreover 498a is not a henerous crime its si dont worry

Moreover when u submitted the pasport to io u have given and signed the paper that u have submitted the passport thats alll

I advise other can share their viewws also on this

court and police cant do anything with passport . just tel police do not use stapler.they does not stamp on it so dont worry , if it taken by passport authority then i do not know.

the police or court have no power to impound the passport the passport authority has only power to do that as per passport act otherwise not.
