Pending verdict in departmental enquiry affecting promotion prospects.

A departmental enquiry of mine is pending for about three years for final verdict. Enquiry is completed since one year and none of the charges levelled against me is proved. Now about 30 junior officers of my cadre have been promoted to next higher level superseding my candidature for the same. What relief can I get from judiciary.

In such case DPC will consider your case and will keep recommendation s in seal cover envelope. This will be opened by DPC committee after decision of enquiry. If no penalty of minor penalty u will be prompted maintaining seniority. But promotion will be given after completion of minor penalty. In case of major penalty no promotion. However u may write to next higher authority and also submit representation to your authority if not satisfied. You may go to CHAT or High Court

Find out if procedure as stated by Mr. Derashri is followed. Most often it is not followed.
