pension scheme for childless widow

My friend's mother was married secretly in 1997 after her first husband died in 1991 who is a ex service man and he had vasectomy surgery (he cannot make a women pregnant). She given a birth to a child in 1998. After two years her second husband died with a decease. Does she eligible to get family pension of her first husband??

In the case of a widow or widower, up to the date of death or remarriage, whichever is earlier. Family Pension shall continue to be payable to a childless widow after her re-marriage if her income from all other sources is less than the amount of minimum family pension and the dearness relief thereon.
