As a matter of Rule In India, the Registration of power of attorney is not compulsory, it is optional.
But In case of a person or for registration than it is beneficial for him as the generality of the power of attorney cannot be brought into question. There is a presumption attached to the genuineness of money which is registered.
As per my recommendation any one should always execute a registered power of attorney only and the value of the stamp paper should be rupees hundred.
The power of attorney shall be registered in the office of sub- registrar only in the presence of at least 2 witnesses.
The legal charges for getting the job done may vary from Rs. 500 to 5000.
