Power of attorney

Hi,

I am a Muslim living in Kerala and would like to change my property in my wife's name.

Which is the best option from below ?

1. should i give the Power of Attorney to my wife ?

2. should I register which will cost me 12% tax.

Also if I give power of Attorney to my wife In case of my death will it go to her instead of my brothers.

If you have any suggestion it is welcome.

you can also make a gift deed and get it registered. this way you can transfer the property in her name.

thanks for the reply. But some people say you cannot gift more than 1/3rd for a muslim husband to his wife.

I would like to make 100% gift deed to my wife, is it possible ?

and what would be the tax % i have to pay for registration.
