Preconditions for will registration

Hi,

I could lilke to know is there any preconditions available for registering WILL in sub-registrar office.   I heard friend of mine mentioning, like it has lot of pre-conditions eg: person who is aged above 50 yrs only can register a will , and  a bed-ridden person cant register will ect.......

Because persnally i dont think there should be any such conditions, but i dont know about the law and procedure......

Can someone explain me pls.

Thanks

Punidha

The person who executes the will should be in sound mind.  Other conditions told by your friend are all not correct.

If any person who have completed the age of 18 years with conscious mind may execute a will.  there are no other conditions as told by your friend.
