Preference when property split

Hi this is regarding question on property part selection when need to split. Is there any preference for choosing property portion from younger to older daughters. My Wife (youngest daughter) have 4 sisters (totally they are 5) . If it comes to property split is there any law for younger daughter to have preference portion of property. Please let me know if any clause as such and more details would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

No such law exist to accord priority.

However, if the property is divided by meets and bounds (mutual consent) someone may get preference.

Though there is no such law, the Hindu traditions, practices, and Vastu the property should be divided into metes and bounds and the division should start from North to South or East to west. The youngest should get EAST or North and the oldest must get West or South.
