Primary education

My son is in a CBSE school in STD IV. but by age criteria he fits into that for STD V. the school took a test then said that we can't promote him to STD V because CBSE rules don't permit him to go to STD V until he completes STD IV.

Can i approach AP high court with a Writ petition.

Please help Fast.

High Court may be reluctant to rewrite the Rules of CBSE, and I dont think there is any right of any child for promotion by age criteria.

How Did & what basis you decide that he fits for Class V.  the possible thing is that :

If you think he fits for class V Only b'coz May b you admitted him late to school.  In very rate rare cases schools permit such kind of students to study in higher class.
