Procedure to add wife name on 8a extract

I own flat in Gram Panchayat area. Flat is purchased by me on my name only. Flat is on my sole name only.

My Flat's 8A Extract is also on my name only.

What is the procedure to add my Wife's name on 8A Extract?

1. You may Gift 50% Share of your flat to your wife, via a duly stamp duty paid registered Gift deed.

2. This will serve all purposes, permanently.
