Process followed in dv appeal

Dear Members,

DV complainant has gone for appeal in session court seeking more maintenance and compensation etc.

Would like to know the process followed in DV appeal case. Should any counter/reply to be filed for appeal in Sessions court ? or will there be direct arguments and then final order ? Please suggest the process followed in DV appeal

Thanks

@GSR

I do not have much information on this matter, i will research on this and post. In the mean while you may get more information on the Process of law and about this case in particular from www.lawkonect.com

You can get a detailed answer to your query from seasoned Lawyers. Just post your query and you will get a written reply.

So wife has gone for appeal in Sessions Court and asking for maintenance etc.

1.  If no domestic violence has taken place, then no relief will be awarded.

2.  Submit your side of the story along with your income details [income - expenditure] , also submit her income details [FD, salary slip, property etc].  File your educational qualification and also show her educational qualification, to the sessions court.
