Process to remove co-owner from flat ownership

Hi,

         I want to remove co-owner from flat purchased which is still under construction. The flat is not yet registered and I am paying EMI myself. Please let me know the procedure to remove co-owner to register it with only in my name.

The society/builder could have guided you.

The co-owner can sell/transfer/relinquish his share to you, by a registered deed.

A local lawyer can guide further.

1) If coowner sell or gift or relinquish his share in ur name then that document can be registed at concern SRO.

2) As flat is under construction then there will be no society formed. Hence builder can assign it by registered document.

3) Whether agreement to sell is formed or not? If yes then while transfering the ownership u can remove his hame from the document while making DeeD of Transfer.
