Property and divorce

Hai all I am planning to buy a new home. My wife is staying away from me and i doubt it could end up in divorce. I just want to know is there any danger involved in buying property in my name with my money. Can she ask for the share of it at the time of divorce.

Try to buy it on someone else's name until the divorce is complete after which you can get it transferred onto your own name.

Wife has rights on husband properties. Try to Buy home in your mother or father's name. Your wife has no right in your parents property.
