Property construction dispute

A Muslim family property dispute.

A man X is the only son among 6 daughters of his parents. Whilst his father passed away without leaving any will so his mother has been the title head of the family. The father while dying has neither verbally nor in written passed the ownership to anyone. All six sisters are married and however the mother wants to rebuild the house to give share to her daughters and while doing so she has left the son and his family with one room of 7x10 ft in the house of  165 yards. Now the mother wants to close the access of the roof from the son's side and hence has started construction in such a way that the son's portion is getting closed from all sides.

Is there any provision by which the son can get this construction stopped? The mother has not taken any grant from municipal authority for the aforesaid construction.

Any suggestion will be of great help.

The son can not stop the construction unless it is illegal.  Further the son can not do anything if the whole property is distributed among all childrens in equal ratio.
