Property division among the children

Hello Sir, My father has donated all his property to my elder brother. To avoid the registration fees, he has donated his land as a gift. So, now i have my sisters and one more brother who have not given any part in the property. If my father has just donated his property to only one of his son, are we not supposed to ask / lodge a complaint ? Please advice me on this. The donation happened almost two and half years back.

Sir, I need to know whether the property is self acquired or ancestral? Regards Kapil Chandna Adv 9899011450

If it is his self aquired property then he is entitled to give his property to anyone he wishes either by way of will or gift but if you can prove that the gift deed has been executed by means of fraud and coercion then you can file a suit

as we know the property which is earned by my father by solding my grandfathers some land at that time we are not born but we dont have such records to prove those things. Can we lodge a complaint according shariyat act 1937. My elder brother already has some property in his name and also he has taken this gifted land.

Your father can gift his properties (self acquired) to anyone of his choice, the Shariat law cannot interfere with his decision, however you may consult a local lawyer and discuss about the availability of  posibilities if any.
