Property ownership

Hi,

I want to know if a son has invested money(25Lacs) in renovating the house then can father(owner of the house) write a will to give the house to other sons who have not invested anything for that house?

What should the son do who have invested everything in that house?

What rights he has?

Regards,

Puneet

Investing in the house does not make the son the owner if this is the self aquired house of father he can will the house to anyone as per his wish.

Sanjeev, the house was built by grandfather. Its not self acquired.

Does it make any difference to your statement?
