Hello,
Im Kashif from Hyderabad.
My father had registred our Property with Agreement of Sale come General Power of Attorney (AGPA) on his name in year 2000.
He expired last year in January 2009.
I came to know that the AGPA paper has become Null & Void after my father's death.
We want to register the Property on my name - or my mother'n name BUT cant bear actual registration charges which is very high and coming to over 3. 5 lacs (9.5% of total property value). Im not that much well-off to bear the expenses.
is there any legal document (Notary) that can be crearted on earlier date (when my father was alive) mentioning- my father had gifted this property to my mother. so that this way the property can be REGISTERED on my Mother's name at 1% of the total property value and most importantly it should be FULLY LEGAL without any hindrances and future problems.
Is this possible? Please let me know if there's any law in PROPERTY that can save me and my mother Money.
Thanks for your help in advance and-im very grateful to you all.
Kashif.
