Property rights for the kids from second marriage

HI All,

i am a software developer and i am about o marry a woman who is divorced from her earlier marriage and has two young kids. for me its my first marriage.

i have ancestoral property and wanted to know whether, the kids from the first marriage of the woman i am planning to marry are entitled for the property.

 

in other words do they have any rights in my property?

No they have no propreitary rights as you would be their step father. Their propreitary rights would be confined to their natural father/mother and other relations being traced through them.

The children  cannot claim directly from you , but they can claim  as heirs of their mother if she has  at all a property ,
