Property Transfer

Sir/Madam,
Can Mother-in-law sell/transfer/gift her property to her Daughter-in-law. What will be the tax treatment of the rental income from that property in the hand of the transferee?

The title holder./owner can dispose her/his self earned/acquired/share in property in anyone’s favor by a valid/registered deed …………

So your mother can dispose her self earned/acquired/absolute/share in property in favor of her daughter in law by a valid/registered deed …………e.g’ sale/gift/transfer deed..

The relation should be covered under relatives..

Thereafter the rental income is though of transferee…may be clubbed with income of transferor..
