Propery transfer from father to son

My father had 2wives and 1st wife expires 2yrs back. He has 3daughters from first wife and 2daughters and a son from 2nd wife. Iam the only son from 2nd wife. My father wants to transfer a house to me and the this property is self earned by him. He as already done a registered will in my name but he is afraid that in future it may have legal complication from daughters. I want to know what is the better way to transfer property in this case so that no legal complication should not arise?

since it is his self aquired property he is free to give it to anyone he likes.in your case he can gift it to you which will make the property to get transferred to your name during his lifetime itself.also ask him to cancel the will once after the gift is made

Mr Kesava, legally speaking, your. Father can gift his entire property to you, but as a son you should persuade your father to divide the property among your sister and step sisters also. Otherwise, you May end up with property but everyone In the family will stop socialising with you. Or alternatively you can assure your sisters that. Even if the father is giving property to yiu, you will give them their share. They too have equal right in father's property
