Provident fund

My cousin is working in a well reputed organisation from ten yrs. He wants money for some urgent personal use. Instead of taking loan from somewhere he wants to withdraw his PF and use it. But in his organization they said tht he need to leave d job to with draw the PF. Is that correct ? Pls advice

NO. Withdrawal from PF is allowed in certain cases. Read at:.......................www.epfindia.gov.in.....................or call PRO in nearest PF office. Keep the PF a/c active and don't resign.

you withdraw money from EPF account while you are working.

  • For Marriage Purpose of Self, Sibling and Children
  • For Education of Self + Children
  • Purchase/Construction of House or Flat
  • Repayment of Existing Home Loan
  • Repairs/Alteration of Existing House
  • For Medical Treatment
  • down load form 31 submit to the HR or direct pf office.
